question:

do countries other than australia have the term “rock up” in their slang?

just-inthecrowd:

How is Avril Lavignes song Hello Kitty even racist? Is just doing any oriental theme considered racist now?

I don’t see it as racist I just see it as ridiculous and I have no idea what she was going on about. I think there were four different music genres in there too.

public service announcement from someone who lives in Japan:

the Avril Lavigne video is stupid and weaboo but it isn’t really racist

it was on the news here today and people just laughed, Japan isn’t over here pissed off

this has been a service announcement, you can stop speaking for the whole country now thanks

im pretty sure bromance is the perfect example of how embarrassingly fragile masculinity is. you know what a female bromance is called? a friendship

I think this isn’t true because “bromances” are these really intense, close friendships. It’s almost like a best friend but it’s more and there isn’t a word for females that’s the equivalent. The closest thing to a bromance is best friend but even best friend can be best friends while bromance is just a two people thing. Watch scrubs and you will see the difference between friends and a bromance.

In Italian we don’t just say I love you, we say “mettersi a nudo, ottenere selvatici, sono incinta con il bambino” which means “you are the light of my world, the rainbow on an otherwise cloudy day” and I think that’s beautiful
